Doxology - A Hymn of Praise

33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the

                  wisdom and knowledge

                   of God!

    How unsearchable his

                  judgments,

    and his paths beyond tracing

                  out!

34 “Who has known the mind of the

                  Lord?

     Or who has been his

                  counselor?”

35 “Who has ever given to God,

                  that God should repay them?”

36 For from him and through him

                   and for him are all things.

    To him be the glory forever!

                  Amen.

 

Food For Thought - Accountability

The mind and ways of God are inscrutable and mysterious to us. God’s judgments are unsearchable and His paths beyond our grasp. He does not need to consult with us or explain His ways to us. Instead it is our responsibility to trust Him and submit to His purposes for our lives even when we haven’t a clue as to where He may be leading us. God asked Job. “Who has a claim against me that I must repay? Everything under heaven belongs to me” (Job 41:11).
